These propellers, both standard and custom built, are designed and manufactured by ZF-FPS to meet the exacting tolerances demanded by ISO 484 Class S. The high manufacturing standard ensures these propellers are ideally suited to quality yachts and naval / police patrol craft.
Every ZF-FPS propeller is NC (Numerical Control) machined to a very high accuracy. The 3-D CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) system is specifically designed for the machining of propeller Blades.

In order to produce a propeller with optimum efficiency, meeting the requirements for low cavitation and vibration criteria at the design point specified by customer, the shape of propeller blade section (i.e. camber and thickness distribution chordwise) is carefully considered in addition to the skew, rake and pitch distribution in radial direction.
